Industry approved removal of mice and rats from commercial and residential properties.
Remove rodent infestations and prevent their return.
Rats and Mice must be controlled, especially in domestic houses, around children and in food preparation and manufacturing locations.
The most common breeds that affect commercial and domestic properties are house mice and brown rats, and less commonly the wood mouse & field mouse.
These animals can carry diseases, create odours, leave their droppings and cause noise pollution.
Our pest control services target current infestations and deliver preventative management.
RATS
CHARACHTERISTICS
Young brown rats are actually more of a grey colour, whereas mature brown rats have a brownish grey coat and a grey belly. They can weight up to 500g and their body length including their head can reach up to 25cm.
Like mice, rats commonly give birth to 10 litters a year, with up to 10 pups in each litter.
Because they can carry diseases and pathogens, such as Leptospirosis or Weil’s disease, Salmonella, Listeria and Hantavirus, it is important to remove brown rats from homes and commercial properties.
Brown rats don’t like new objects, which can make them hard to catch, but they are commonly found in environments linked to humans.
MICE
CHARACHTERISTICS
The common house mouse is usually greyish briwn in colour, with a body length of between 6-10 cm, and weighs approx. 20g.
Mice don’t need to drink water everyday, the water in their food can sustain them. They are sporadic feeders, eating in several different places, and can produce up to 50 droppings a day.
Mice can have between 4 and 8 pups or pinkies in each litter, and can have up to 8 litters a year, so if you do not control them, you can soon be overrun.
